GROUNDWATER BANK: SUSTAINABLE WATER
MANAGEMENT

"Water scarcity demands innovative solutions. TRIYA embraces groundwater banking technology to create harmony between luxury living and environmental sustainability."

Ms. Arunya Triyanond, former Vice President of WSF Saphan Boon Foundation, has implemented groundwater banking systems across northeastern Thailand including Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Buriram, Khon Kaen, and Wat Pa Bo Nam Phra In in Ubon Ratchathani province.

Groundwater banking operates on a simple principle: removing air from underground soil layers to create porous cavities where water can permeate and be stored naturally. In drought-affected areas, this technique gradually increases water levels, revitalizing abandoned wells and transforming cracked soil into fertile land within 6-12 months.

Despite Phuket's 8-month rainy season and 4-month summer, the province faces severe water shortages, often requiring water purchases from Phang Nga and neighboring provinces for consumption. TRIYA is implementing groundwater banking across all our developments to ensure sufficient water supply for both residential use and community needs, creating moisture-rich environments and establishing wide-radius water reserves that benefit both our projects and surrounding communities.
